Data Centre Solutions

Rack Colocation Services

This service typically involves the housing of physical server hardware and storage at the data centre under resilient physical security, redundant network, redundant power, and redundant cooling components, which provide precision efficient rack cooling solutions. This comprises 24×7 support and service monitoring with quick-access to the client’s co-located infrastructure on request. The data center facility is currently the largest of its kind in Ghana.

Virtual Private Server

In this form of multi-tenant cloud hosting service, a high-performance physical server is virtualised, and server resources are made available to an end-user over a network that offers higher levels of performance, flexibility, and control by a virtual environment. The hardware and software resources of the physical machine usually are shared across multiple users. End users have access to the infrastructure, and enjoy the same flexibility and control in the virtual environment.

Web Hosting

Smart Infraco’s basic website hosting service is available to all government institutions for a stipulated and moderate fee. The service runs on a shared web server environment. We host multiple clients on a single, shared web server, bringing down the cost by spreading it across all the clients and their packages hosted on the server.

Domain Registration

A domain name represents your organisation and your service. We help you acquire a domain name from a domain name registrar. Currently, gov.gh domains are available at no cost to an eligible government institution. A domain name represents your organisation and enables your services to have a web presence. Our partner NITA, as gov.gh registrar, provides general naming requirements and specific rules based on the type of government institution.

Storage as a Service (STaaS)

Enable your organisation to use our data centre and cloud storage resources to store data. Using STaaS is more cost-efficient than building private storage infrastructure, especially based on regulatory requirements of storing data locally in the jurisdiction of Ghana.

Monitoring as a Service (MaaS)

One of our many data centre services, MaaS facilitates the utilisation of monitoring functionalities for various levels of IT assets of government and enterprise clients. Monitoring is done 24×7, along with proactive and reactive measures, such as early detection alerts against cyber threats, vulnerabilities detection, and management of resource utilisation.
